DETECTION OF FLAXSEED OIL ADULTERATION BASED ON TWO-DIMENSIONAL CORRELATION NEAR-INFRARED SPECTRA

نویسندگان

چکیده

Flaxseed oil is rich in α-linolenic acid and other nutrients, the adulteration happens frequently because of its high price. To detect flaxseed quickly accurately, a method was proposed based on weighted reconstructed two-dimensional correlation near-infrared(NIR) spectra. The near-infrared spectra 79 adulterated samples (adulterated by rapeseed with doping volume ratio 1%-40%) were measured, traditional synchronous calculated. all decomposed into multiple components different scales bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition algorithm (BEMD). According to root mean square error(RMSE) values detection sub-models established each component, weights corresponding calculated, then accumulating components. A quantitative analysis model combined N-way partial least square(N-PLS)algorithm. Compared spectroscopy, built had better performance calibration determination coefficient increased 6.05%, prediction 7.5%. could effectively enhance spectral feature information, reduce noise interference, hence provide new idea for edible adulteration.

Novel Application of Near-infrared Spectroscopy and Chemometrics Approach for Detection of Lime Juice Adulteration

The aim of this study is to investigate the novel application of a ‎handheld near infra-red spectrophotometer coupled with classification methodologies as a screening approach in detection of adulterated lime juices. For this purpose, a miniaturized near infra-red spectrophotometer (Tellspec®) in the spectral range of 900–1700 nm was used. Three diffuse reflectance spectra of 31 pure...

Raman Spectroscopic Detection of Olive Oil Adulteration

Olive oil is among the most commonly adulterated food products. Raman spectroscopy has the potential to be utilized in measurements of olive oil to establish purity from adulteration with other, less expensive, oils. This application note reviews some of the most compelling data present in recent scientific literature to support this claim. Background and Motivation Extra‐virgin olive oil is in...

Near-Infrared Spectra of Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies.

Near-infrared spectra with a resolution of lambda&solm0;Deltalambda approximately 1100 in the rest-wavelength range of 1.8-2.2 µm have been obtained for a complete sample of 33 ultraluminous infrared galaxies (ULIRGs). Of the 33 objects observed, two show evidence of a central active galactic nucleus (AGN) through either a broad Paschen-alpha line or emission in the 1.963 µm fine structure of [...
